March Break!
Monday, March 15th - Friday, March 19th is March Break. There is no school during this time. We wish all of our students and parents a fun-filled and safe March Break! Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead 1 hour this Saturday (March 13th) before going to bed so you will be on time for school on Monday, March 22nd!

 Middle French Immersion
If you were unable to attend our information session for Middle French Immersion but would like more information regarding the program, please call the school office during regular business hours. The school principal or our M.F.I. teacher would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Please note that although the official registration period for MFI has come and gone it is still not too late to register. If you have a child who is currently in grade 3 and would like to register him/her for MFI in September please drop by the school office during regular hours and fill out the registration form.

School Council Meeting

Please be advisede that the School Council meeting for March has been cancelled. The next meeting will take place Tuesday, April 6.

Although the offical registration period for Junior and Senior Kindergarten Registration has come to a close, you can still register your child. If you live within the school boundary registrations are ongoing throughout the rest of the school year. If you live out of our catchement area but would like your child to attend Centennial, please see the policy regarding cross boundary transfers on OCDSB website. Parents are encouraged to register children for kindergarten as early as possible to allow sufficient time for staff and transportation planning.  To be eligible for junior kindergarten, children must be four years old by December 31, 2010.  To be eligible for senior kindergarten, children must be five years old by December 31, 2010. Please note that children who are already attending our junior kindergarten program do NOT have to register for senior kindergarten.  

 

Please bring the following items with you at the time of registration:

 

Proof of age in the form of a birth or batismal certificate, Canadian Citizenship Card or passport--Your child's Ontario Health Card---Your child's immunization record.
